Application Guide

Wash hands to ensure that sure nails are completely free of any natural oils and apply a coat of Easy Remove Base Coat to the nail, leaving a gap of approximately 2mm from the nail’s edge on all sides (see diagram below). Allow to dry completely, the product will become clear. Complete your manicure as normal, ensuring that your polish covers the edges of the product to form a seal. We recommend still using a regular base coat such as our Bonding Base Coat over Easy Remove Base Coat as this product doesn’t guard against staining.

Alternatively, you can apply Easy Remove Base Coat to your entire nail, however your polish may only last 24 hours using this method.

There are several methods for removal. Which one works for you may depend on your nail chemistry as not all methods will work for everyone.
Method 1:
Gently lift the polish from the cuticle edge, breaking the seal, and peel off. This method will work most effectively if you have applied Easy Remove Base Coat to your whole nail.
Method 2:
Take a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover and run it along the cuticle edge to break the seal formed by the polish. Using a rubber-tipped cuticle pusher (never metal – it will damage your nails!) gently coax the polish off the nail from cuticle to tip in short quick pushing motions.
Method 3:
Take a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover and run it along the cuticle edge to break the seal formed by the polish. Soak fingers in a bowl of warm water for at least 60 seconds and gentle coax polish from the nail. Soak again if necessary.
With all methods, if any small patches of polish remain on the nail remove with nail polish remover as usual. Should you have any further questions or queries don’t hesitate to contact us, we’re here to help.

About Sayuri

Sayuri Nail Lacquer is an independent Australian business specialising in hand mixed nail polish. Developed by Anthea Cosentino and Michael Gee, Sayuri was launched in March 2013 from a desire to combine Anthea’s design qualification and her passion for nail polish with Michael’s business qualification. Anthea’s design aesthetic is often described as ‘quirky’, and her inspirations are consistently wild and whimsical. ‘Normal’ is not something that we aspire to!

A large majority of our products are designed for layering. This means that our polishes are highly versatile, and the final look of the polish is very much up to the user. Build them up on their own in 2-3 coats, or layer them over your favourite plain polish for a completely different effect.

ALL product descriptions and information is provided by the brand. Although we strive to provide you with an accurate portrayal of the product, please keep in mind many factors are subjective. What we have listed as ‘microglitter’ may be described by the customer as just a ‘glitter’ or ‘texture’; an ‘emerald green’ may be seen as a ‘rich teal’ by the customer. Our product swatches are picked carefully by our team, but please remember that swatches are also subjective to application technique and lighting. While every attempt is made to accurately portray all product colours, variations from what you see on your screen compared to what you see with your own eyes are inevitable due to individual monitor settings. If you are unsure as to if a product is suitable for you, we encourage you to contact us via the ‘Product Enquiry’ tab, we are more than happy to assist you wherever we can. We also encourage customers to view our review tab (if applicable), and to visit the site of the swatcher (linked at base of 'description' tab, if applicable). Most swatchers review their products, and their firsthand experience & product knowledge is valuable!
