Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Fragrance Blend, Polysorbate-80 +/- Mica, FD&C Colourants. Recommended shelf life of 4 months after purchase.
Size: Approx. 160g net weight of product in a clear, screw-cap jar. There should be enough for 2-3 baths.
Application and Uses
Scatter into your bathtub while it’s filling up.
Tub Transmutations are made with Sweet Almond Oil – a moisturising and softening oil which is especially suited to dry, sensitive or irritated skin.
Although we used Mica and/or FD&C dyes along with Polysorbate-80 to assist with the oil blending in the water, we highly recommend using our Tub Transmutations in a bathtub that you know is not made from porous or easily-stained material (some older styles are, unfortunately). Please keep in mind some of our TT may creates mica rings around the tub, but these can be wiped off with a damp sponge after your bath.
Some TT may also contain sparkles (calcium aluminum borosilicate).
IMPORTANT: Tub Transmutations contain oil. Please always exercise caution when entering or exiting your bathtub after using a Tub Transmutation. The oil may make the bottom/sides slippery.
c. 1400, “dark,” figuratively “morally unenlightened; gloomy,” from Old French obscur, oscur “dark, clouded, gloomy; dim, not clear” (12c.) and directly from Latin obscūrus “dark, dusky, shady,” figuratively “unknown; unintelligible; hard to discern; from insignificant ancestors”.
obscūrus explores my interest in medieval history, ancient civilisations, unexplained phenomena on and off planet, the history of the stars, theology, alchemy, occultism, and fine art. Interlinked with my blooming experiments with fragrance; and colour play beyond the limitations I’ve had in cosmetic manufacturing. After two years of research and formulation specifically into bath and body products, I am taking my time introducing new items so that I can ensure they are perfect for me, and you.
