Application and Uses
Our Shower Spell body washes are great for everyday use, and are made from sunflower and coconut oils. They produce a medium lather (more if used with a loofah) and are gentle on the skin. However, this product is not suitable for facial use (especially near the eyes) or directly on the genitals (particularly women) due to the fragrance content.
Shower Spells that contain shimmer or pigment may have sinkage – this occurs when the particles are too heavy to be suspended in the base. It is very common, and to be expected. If you do not like shimmer in your Shower Spell you can leave it to sink to the bottom. Alternatively if you want to re-disperse it through the base you will need to roll the bottle between your palms for several minutes; or flip it to stand on it’s head for 5-10 minutes. We do not advise you shake or stir simply because it will cause bubbling – this will settle back down after it’s left alone to stand for a day or two; but can be unsightly.
c. 1400, “dark,” figuratively “morally unenlightened; gloomy,” from Old French obscur, oscur “dark, clouded, gloomy; dim, not clear” (12c.) and directly from Latin obscūrus “dark, dusky, shady,” figuratively “unknown; unintelligible; hard to discern; from insignificant ancestors”.
obscūrus explores my interest in medieval history, ancient civilisations, unexplained phenomena on and off planet, the history of the stars, theology, alchemy, occultism, and fine art. Interlinked with my blooming experiments with fragrance; and colour play beyond the limitations I’ve had in cosmetic manufacturing. After two years of research and formulation specifically into bath and body products, I am taking my time introducing new items so that I can ensure they are perfect for me, and you.
