Application and Uses
Purge Potion is a sugar scrub made with Australian cane sugar, Grapeseed Oil (good for mature/dry skin), Avocado Oil (great for sensitive skin), and Shea Butter for moisture and conditioning. The consistency is usually gelatinous to soft solid however in VERY warm climates the oils and butters may soften back to liquid state. We highly recommend you store your unit in a cool location, upright.
Rub onto wet skin to buff away built-up oils or grime. We recommend exfoliating only once a week with large particle purge potions. Skin can develop temporary blotches after scrubbing; so it’s a good idea to avoid sugar scrubs a few days before an important event.
Suitable for body, not facial, use. Do not ingest or apply to mucous membranes. Recommended shelf life of 2 months after opening.
With all cosmetic & body products, spot test on your arm prior to use. If you experience a reaction to this product, please discontinue use immediately and consult with your GP.
About Obscūrus
obscure
c. 1400, “dark,” figuratively “morally unenlightened; gloomy,” from Old French obscur, oscur “dark, clouded, gloomy; dim, not clear” (12c.) and directly from Latin obscūrus “dark, dusky, shady,” figuratively “unknown; unintelligible; hard to discern; from insignificant ancestors”.
obscūrus explores my interest in medieval history, ancient civilisations, unexplained phenomena on and off planet, the history of the stars, theology, alchemy, occultism, and fine art. Interlinked with my blooming experiments with fragrance; and colour play beyond the limitations I’ve had in cosmetic manufacturing. After two years of research and formulation specifically into bath and body products, I am taking my time introducing new items so that I can ensure they are perfect for me, and you.
