Other: All of our products are 3-free (Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP Free), and are lovingly made using quality ingredients. We are also a vegan friendly company. Our products contain no animal products, nor are they tested on animals.
Our polishes contain a high quality suspension base to avoid particle settlement, however it is an unfortunate inevitability that some larger, heavier glitters will sink over time. To disperse them and eliminate the need to ‘fish’ for glitters, give the bottle a good shake and turn it on it’s head for 10 minutes before use. All of our bottles contain 2 stainless steel balls to aid in this process.
To achieve an even placement of glitters on the nail (particularly when using glitter toppers with a clear base) in some cases it might be necessary to dab the glitter on any bare patches after your initial application. Alternatively you can place a drop of polish in the centre of the nail and use the brush to push it out towards the edges. I prefer the second technique, but which technique you use is very much up to you and is something that you’ll perfect with practice.
Sayuri Nail Lacquer is an independent Australian business specialising in hand mixed nail polish. Developed by Anthea Cosentino and Michael Gee, Sayuri was launched in March 2013 from a desire to combine Anthea’s design qualification and her passion for nail polish with Michael’s business qualification. Anthea’s design aesthetic is often described as ‘quirky’, and her inspirations are consistently wild and whimsical. ‘Normal’ is not something that we aspire to!
A large majority of our products are designed for layering. This means that our polishes are highly versatile, and the final look of the polish is very much up to the user. Build them up on their own in 2-3 coats, or layer them over your favourite plain polish for a completely different effect.
