Other: It is important to remember that just because this product is made with great care and high quality oils, doesn’t mean that your skin still won’t be allergic to something in this blend. Some essential oils and high quality fragrance oils have been known to cause skin irritation if not diluted, so please err on the side of caution if you have skin sensitivities. It’s always wise to do a 48 hour test patch on your skin to make sure no allergies arise.

It’s quite intensely musky in the bottle so I was a little worried at first, but it truly blossoms on the skin. The musk is super strong initially but fades away quickly to make way for a gorgeous smokey, salty vanilla. It reminds me of Solstice Scents Tenebrous Mist without the lime and spices, where TM is the beginning of a night out drinking with pirates whereas the Kraken is the end of it where you end up bedding the captain. Very sultry, but also quite calming and warm.
