Inspired by the painting by Evelyn De Morgan (30 August 1855 – 2 May 1919) A solitary female figure, dressed in a purple-bluish draped robe, and seated in a mournful posture, expresses a sentiment of inconsolable loss and remembrance. However, the rising sun in the background of the painting is also a symbol of hope and renewal.

Instant favourite! There’s something special about A England polish in general, and this colour in particular hits all the right notes. The Holo sparkle is light and bright, almost pastel rainbow coloured (as Kelli Marissa pointed out in her review), and gives a really uniquely pretty finish. Elizabeth is a cool lavender purple that manages to be both pale and intense, with a sort of creamy quality you just don’t expect from a holo. Opacity is excellent and the brush shape makes application a delight. I have unsteady hands and arthritis, but I can be really neat in my application of this polish thanks to the brush and formula. This is a colour I hope will always be available.

Well I’m sorry it you’ve read my two other A-England reviews because this is going to be the same. Very smooth one coat formula. Very strong holo. This formula makes me hungry for more.
