This is a very unique color. When applied lightly over regular eyeshadow primer, it’s a nice everyday taupe-y shade. But when foiled over a sticky base, the violet purple duochrome comes alive and makes it a much more mysterious shade. From some angles it’s a muted grey-green, from others a violet. Really interesting!

This shadow is not my favorite I can’t get the violet to show up very well on my eye.

This colour is cooler than I had hoped for, but the formula is still divine.

I love the contrast between base color and shimmer. I use it often as the base color on my eye. It is interesting to see the violet shimmer, for me it’s very prominent, I see it all the time. Of course, this is over a base primer like e.g. Shadow Magic. I was surprised how well it matched with my blue eyes!

The violet in this is quite dark, it’s not a bright shine. If you use a base that’s too sticky it doesn’t really “shift” either like a duochrome, more like an overlay of shimmer. Because of this it can just end up looking like a nondescript purple.
